Aghdam resident: "Enemy will not be able to achieve their intentions" (AZERTAC)
Despite the humanitarian ceasefire declared at 08:00 a.m. on October 26, the Armenian armed forces continued shelling settlements in Azerbaijan.
One of the settlements subjected to artillery fire is the village of Garadaghli in Aghdam district.
Elshad Rahimov, a Garadaghli village resident, said that the missile fired by the enemy this morning destroyed his house.
“This is the second projectile that has been fired into our yard. The enemy intends to scare us and discourage us. But they will not be able to achieve their intentions. Because we are not afraid of the enemy. We live in our native village. Trusting our Commander-in-Chief, our President, and our army, we are busy with our daily work even though we are under artillery fire every day,” he added.
This is the third time Armenia has violated the ceasefire. The joint statement in Moscow on October 10, the re-announcement of the commitment through the mediation efforts of Paris on October 18, and the agreement on an emergency humanitarian ceasefire in Washington on October 24 were grossly violated by Armenia.
Thus, Armenia is once again deliberately ignoring its obligations and showing open disrespect for the efforts of international mediators.
