EU Today, a European media platform, has published an article entitled “Nagorno-Karabakh: Armenian aggression in the occupied Azerbaijani territories.”
The article mentions that in the morning of September 27, Armenian armed forces, in a gross violation of the ceasefire, escalated the tension along the line of contact and launched an artillery attack on Azerbaijan’s military positions and civilian facilities. It also notes that Azerbaijan keeps giving a decent response to the military aggression of Armenia, even regaining control over some territories under occupation.
“On September 27, Armenian armed forces fired on our settlements, as well as our military positions, from several directions this morning, using various types of weaponry, including heavy artillery. As a result of the enemy fire, there are casualties among the civilian population and our servicemen. Some people have been wounded. May God rest our martyrs in peace! Their blood will not remain unavenged. The Azerbaijani Army is currently firing on the enemy's military positions, and as a result of these strikes, many units of the enemy's military equipment have been destroyed,” EU Today cites Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev as appealing to the nation.
The article also notes that Armenia’s military aggression against Azerbaijan is condemned on a global scale.
“In a Twitter post, the Turkish presidential spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, condemned Armenia’s violation of international law,” says the article.
