Khoysky’s granddaughter: Karabakh will be liberated and spirits of our ancestors will find peace (Report)
“I pray for Azerbaijan. I believe that Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding districts will be liberated from occupation, and the spirits of our ancestors will find peace,” said Leyla Khoysky, the 90-year-old granddaughter of Huseyngulu Khan Khoysky, who is the brother of Fatali Khan Khoysky.
“From morning until evening, I follow the news about Azerbaijan on TV. Turkish channels broadcast extensive news reports from Azerbaijan. Sometimes I listen to the news on Azerbaijani TV channels. I am pleased with their orderly presentation of information. I can't hear well, so I sit closer to the screen. I am proud of the brave sons of Azerbaijan and pray for them all day. A part of our lands has already been returned. We must go to the last. I feel that we can finally prepare for a trip to Karabakh. May God rest the souls of our martyrs,” she added.
Leyla Khoysky is living in Turkey.
