Russian expert: Armenia must return Azerbaijan lands unconditionally (Report)
Azerbaijan is responding to the aggressive actions of Armenia, which has for many years keeping Azerbaijani lands under occupation, said Alexander Perendzhiev, a Russian political scientist.
“Azerbaijan is trying to return the lands that Armenia had to return without any conditions. Justice is on the side of Azerbaijan,” he noted.
According to Perendzhiev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan constantly hides behind the fact that "if Azerbaijan decides to return its territories by military means, it will be bad for everyone and, as it were, is trying to put pressure on international public opinion so that all states oppose military actions."
“This is an advantageous position for the Armenians to endlessly negotiate. And they are ready to negotiate anything, except for the return of territories,” he added.
Commenting on Russia's position on the events on the line of contact on September 27, the Russian political scientist said that Moscow would not support hostilities in any case and would always stand for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
