Armenian armed forces intensively fire at Azerbaijan’s Tartar
Armenia’s military and political leadership, in a gross violation of its obligations under the Geneva Convention, continue to shell civilians, civilian facilities, houses and economic infrastructure. The enemy's armed forces keep intensively firing at densely populated areas - regional and rural centers, civil infrastructure objects - hospitals, medical centers, school buildings, and kindergartens.
On September 28, 2020, at about 11:00 am, Aliyev Mehman Sovet oglu, born in 1975, died from shell shrapnel falling near the administrative building of the District Court on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Tartar. The driver of the ambulance Asadov Ganbar Asgar oglu, born in 1968, and the police officer in the car Huseynov Fakhraddin Farman oglu, born in 1994, as well as another resident of Tartar city Ibrahimov Tural Firdovsi oglu, born in 1991, were injured.
On September 28 at about 19:00, residents of Tartar district - Abbasov Khalig Asif, born in 1981, and his brother Abbasov Elshan Asif, born in 1987, were killed as a result of artillery shelling hitting the yard of an apartment building built for the disabled and IDPs in Shikh Arkh settlement of Tartar district. Mammadov Seymur Fuzuli, born in 1984, and Mahmudov Faig Malik, born in 1989, were hospitalized with various injuries.
As a result of heavy artillery fire by the enemy, the houses of Azad Garagoyunlu village residents Ahmadov Mayil Alasgar, Salahov Nizami Majid, Karimov Elshan Shahmat were severely damaged, the main strategic bridge and the police department were shelled.
As a result of the shelling of civilian objects by the enemy, building No.10 consisting of 54 apartments located in Tartar city, E. Safarov Street, the multi-floor residential building No.16 located in Shikharkh settlement of the district became unusable, the residents of the buildings were evacuated.
Moreover, as a result of intensive fire by the occupant Armenian armed forces, artillery shells fell on the auxiliary buildings belonging to Aghayev Bakhtiyar Rahim in Sahlabad village and Rasmiyya Hasanova in Yukhari Gapanli village of Tartar district, small and large livestock were killed.
