China Global Television Network (CGTN) has published an article on its website, highlighting Armenia’s next military provocation against Azerbaijan.
The article, referring to the officials of the so-called entity in Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region, notes that 28 more Armenian militants were killed in the clashes with Azerbaijan, thus their death toll reached 56.
It is stressed that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared a partial mobilization after Armenia launched military provocations. The article also contains Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s remarks that Armenia should end the occupation of Azerbaijani territories.
“Once Armenia immediately leaves the territory it is occupying, the region will return to peace and harmony,” the Chinese television cited Erdogan as saying.
CGTN reports that the fiercest fighting in years between the two former Soviet republics has revived concern over stability in the South Caucasus, a corridor for pipelines carrying oil and gas to world markets
“No country recognizes Karabakh's independence – not even Armenia – and it is still considered part of Azerbaijan by the international community,” CGTN states.
