The Azerbaijani UAV ‘shot down’ by Armenians turns out to be a biplane
The Armenian side has today once again declared shooting down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) owned by the Azerbaijani Army and has released footage of the alleged UAV to confirm the fact. But a glance at the video in slow motion suffices to see that the ‘UAV’ falling in flames is clearly an ‘An-2’ utility aircraft, reported Colonel Vagif Dargahli, head of the Ministry of Defence press service.
Dargahli said: ‘The question is why our army would need an agricultural biplane when the Azerbaijani Army has the most modern weapons and newest military equipment at its disposal. The answer is simple. The Armenian propaganda is thus unsuccessfully employing graphics and animation editing to deceive its people and boost the physically broken morale of the Armenian soldiers. In a word, all our UAVs are safe and ready for combat.’
