IDP settlement in Aghdam comes under artillery fire: Armenia’s war crimes (Azertac)
Armenian armed forces continue to fire heavy artillery at residential areas, and civilian facilities, including private and multi-apartment buildings in Azerbaijan. Civilian facilities and the property of civilians were heavily damaged as a result of the war crimes committed by Armenian troops.
This time Armenian military targeted the Birinji Alibeyli settlement for IPDs in the Aghdam district. On the night of October 1-2, six shells hit the settlement. As a result, one resident was injured in the hand, a house was destroyed, and livestock and agricultural equipment were damaged.
Resident Sari Allahverdiyev said: “We woke up to a loud explosion at night. We saw that the ceiling of one of the rooms in our house collapsed. The shell hit the other room. Fortunately, we survived. The enemy is deliberately firing at our settlements. But they will not achieve anything. Our army will drive Armenian invaders out of our lands once and for all.
Resident Eyvaz Huseynov said: “It was night. My family members were at home. I was coming home. When I reached the gate, a strong explosion occurred. I fell to the ground, and my hand was bleeding. Fortunately, nothing happened to my family members.”
