Armenian armed forces keep shelling settlements in Azerbaijan’s Goranboy district.
The district’s Safikurd village was sentenced to fire by the enemy. The missile and shells fired by Armenian troops inflicted heavy damage on several houses and an administrative building in the village. The house owned by villager Hagigat Jafarnijati was destroyed due to the enemy shelling. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Hagigat Jafarnijati said: “Yesterday, around 8:30 in the morning, the enemy began firing at our village. I was alone at home at that time. I went out as soon as I heard the sound of gunfire. At that moment, one of the shells fired by Armenians hit my house. Fortunately, I was not injured. But my house was destroyed.”
The villager also said they are unafraid of the Armenians firing on civilians. “We are not afraid of the enemy. We strongly believe in our brave and heroic sons. Long live our state! Long live our army! We believe that our army will liberate Karabakh from occupation. Hopefully, they will destroy the enemy soon.”
The shell that hit the house of Hagigat Jafarnijati also damaged the house belonging to neighbor Vidadi Yusifov.
