Alkhanli resident: We’re not going to leave our village even if enemy forces, which retreated in fear of our army, target civilians (AZERTAC)
The Armenian armed forces, which were forced to retreat after crushing blows by the valour Azerbaijani Army, keep targeting the civilian population.
The heavy artillery shelling by the enemy destroyed Alkhanli village in Fuzuli district.
Villager Elbrus Babayev said: “We - village residents - are not afraid of the enemy because we rely on the powerful Azerbaijani Army and are not going to leave our village. The enemy forces, which cannot withstand the strikes of our servicemen, continue to target the civilian population. One of the artillery shells fired two days ago hit this land. As a result, two nearby houses and a car were damaged. Shells were also fired at other areas in the village, leaving many houses destroyed. But we are in our native village. Our army continues inflicting strikes on the enemy, and Armenian troops are forced to retreat. We believe that our flag will be hoisted in Shusha, Kalbajar, and Lachin soon, and will celebrate the victory in our ancestral lands.”
It should be noted that about 50 shells were fired at Alkhanli village alone during the recent battles, as a result of which, dozens of houses and farm facilities were destroyed.
