Armenian forces shell Birinji Baharli settlement built for IDPs (Azertac)
The Armenian Armed Forces continue to fire from heavy artillery installations on residential areas and civilian objects, including private and multi-apartment residential buildings and farms, where the population of Azerbaijan lives densely. As a result, a large amount of damage was made to civilian objects and the property of civilians.
The next target of the enemy was the Birinji Baharli settlement built for IDPs in the Agdam region. Dozens of houses where IDPs lived in the settlement were destroyed by the shells, and cattle were killed.
We present photos from the first Baharli settlement.
Note, that the military and political leadership of the aggressor Armenia continues to commit acts of terrorism against the civilian population, grossly violating the norms and principles of international law.
Since September 27, as a result of Armenia’s armed forces shelling with heavy artillery fire, 55 civilians have been hospitalized with various degrees of injuries, and 16 people died.
In addition, the Armenian military units continue to intensively fire from heavy artillery installations at densely populated areas - district and village centres, civil infrastructure objects - residential houses, hospitals, medical centres, school buildings, kindergartens, administrative buildings of state institutions, and agricultural areas.
As a result of the armed forces of Armenia firing on civilian infrastructure objects, 163 residential houses and 36 civilian objects were heavily damaged. As well as vehicles belonging to civilians were damaged, and numerous small and cattle animals were killed.
Books will be written and films will be made about the great victories achieved by the Azerbaijani Army in the counter-offensive operation against the invading Armenian armed forces on September 27. But from now on, we can say with full confidence that the main reason for our frontline successes was the strong state, strong army strategy, national unity, and enthusiasm of our fighters implemented by the President, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
