Armenia targets civilian facilities in Yenikend village of Goranboy (Azertag)
Starting from the morning hours of September 27, the enemy is exposing frontline villages and civilians to fire, which suffered a large number of lives and military-technical losses after the heavy blows of the Azerbaijani Army, which responded to the attack of the Armenian armed units with a counter-attack.
AZERTAG's regional correspondent reports that Tapgaragoyunlu village of Goranboy district is one of the settlements that was most affected by the Armenian sabotage at a time when heavy battles were going on on all fronts.
When the strategically significant Talysh Heights was liberated from the Armenian side by the counterattack of our Army, the Tapgaragoyunlu village, located opposite these heights, was subjected to more intensive fire by Armenian units.
The enemy, who targets residential houses in the village, civilians wants to take revenge for his defeat on the front against the civilians, violating the provisions of the Geneva Convention.
Currently, as a result of the Armenian provocation, dozens of houses and farms in Tapgaragoyunlu village have been partially or totally destroyed. Among the villagers, some were injured as a result of the shells fired by the enemy.
However, there is great enthusiasm among Tapgaragoyunlu residents. Azer Nagiyev, a village resident, said: "Tapgaragoyunlu is a heroic village. Back in the early 1990s, when the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were just beginning to be established, the Armenian side tried to occupy this village many times but was unable to succeed. In the April 2016 battles, the armed units of Armenia subjected our village - houses, roads, schools, and civilians to fire, and destroyed them. Even then, their wishes did not come true. In general, the residents of our village have been standing face to face with the enemy for 27 years, waking up every morning with gunshots. We believe in our army, we are waiting for victory news."
