Armenian Brutality Claims Lives of 2 Schoolchildren
The Armenian armed forces have been shelling our residential settlements since September 27, entirely killing a family in Naftalan. We inform regretfully that two of the victims of this aggression are schoolchildren.
The Ministry of Education informs that the 2007-born Shahriyar Gurbanov and his cousin, 2006-born Fidan Gurbanova, were students at the Z.Rustamov Secondary School in Gashalti Garagoyunlu village.
The Armenian side has been targeting the Azerbaijani civilian population and infrastructure since yesterday, thus grossly violating the norms and principles of international law and the 1949 Geneva Conventions.
The Ministry of Education management and staff are heartbroken as the Armenian aggression continues to claim lives of our compatriots, including an entire family in Naftalan, and express their deepest condolences to the families of victims and the entire nation.
We wish our soldiers success as they proudly make history in liberating our lands from occupation!
