Azerbaijan is absolutely right in this struggle. UN Security Council Resolutions demanding the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied territories have not yet been implemented, said British poet, writer, playwright, actor and director David William Perry as he commented on the ongoing armed clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan caused by Armenia`s military provocation.
In his interview with Azerbaijan, he expressed his sorrow over Armenia's missile strike on Ganja and recalled his visit to the city years ago. He said such an attack on a city inhabited by civilians is unacceptable. It is very sad to see injured children and people who lost their lives, William Perry said.
President Ilham Aliyev is a very brave man and pursues a very correct policy, he added.
