Foreign Students Make Video in Support of Azerbaijan
Students, who attended the Multiculturalism in Azerbaijan lectures for foreign students at Baku International Multiculturalism Centre have prepared a video to emphasize their support for Azerbaijan’s fight for its territorial integrity in Karabakh. At the same time, members of the ‘Azerbaijan’s Young Friends’ group, representatives of the USA, Cameroon, Portugal, Croatia, Germany, Estonia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan have strongly condemned Armenia attacking Azerbaijan’s civilian territories far outside the conflict zone from ballistic missiles and cluster bombs, banned by international organizations.
The press service of the Multiculturalism Centre reports that the video depicts: ‘The international community must condemn these terrible terrorist acts committed by Armenian leadership. Remaining silent while this tragedy unfolds is not right. The international community must hold Armenia accountable for the atrocities committed against Azerbaijan’s civilian population and the gross violation of the international humanitarian law. Armenia and its fascist leadership must be stopped. The recent rocket attack on Ganja proves that Armenia does not seek peace in the region. The international law recognizes Nagorno-Karabakh and the seven adjacent districts as ancestral territories of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is a true example of a peace-loving country. We have been to Azerbaijan and know this multicultural country well and we know that Azerbaijanis are very hospitable. It is crucial that we share this video in support of Azerbaijan. We must demonstrate our stance. Therefore, we invite everyone to join this flashmob and distribute videos that call on everyone to stand on the same side with international law, justice and truth. We wish Azerbaijan peace and tranquility. We support Azerbaijan and state firmly that Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’
