10-Year-Old Brazilian Sends Letter to Azerbaijani Soldiers
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Brazil received a letter by a 10-year-old Brazilian citizen called Marlon, living in the state of São Paulo, addressed to the soldiers of the glorious Azerbaijani Army within the ‘Letter to a Soldier’ project.
The embassy reports that Marlon started his letter by greeting the Azerbaijani fighters and asking them to protect every person and everything that is good in the war. He saved up his pocket money for sweets and decided to send 30 reals (6 USD) to our soldiers so that they can treat themselves to sweets. The letter was continued by his mother, who added that these little funds were sent with love and that Marlon prayed for the people and soldiers of Azerbaijan every night. The letter was signed ‘We send you all our love, respect and admiration’.
There are almost no Azerbaijanis living in Brazil, populated by over 100,000 Armenians and this step was a pure act of support for the Azerbaijani Army by the locals.
