Scotland Hosts Event to Protest Armenian Terrorism
Azerbaijanis in Aberdeen, Scotland, held a permitted protest in front of the Kirk of St Nicholas in the centre of the city. The State Committee for Work with Diaspora reports that the protestors condemned the occupying Armenian army committing acts of vandalism in Ganja, Barda and other settlements of Azerbaijan, thus killing civilians, including minors and women.
The event was organized by our students and the Azerbaijani community in Aberdeen. The speakers at the protest noted that the heavy artillery fires on the Azerbaijani cities of Ganja, Barda and others are the continuation of the aggressive policy Armenia pursues against Azerbaijan. Our compatriots called on the international community to stop their indifference towards the Armenian armed forces targeting the residents of Barda with cluster bombs, prohibited to employ against civilians. They commemorated the victims of Ganja and Barda terrors and chanted slogans such as ‘Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’, ‘End child killings!’, ‘Stop Armenian terrorism!’, ‘Armenia – comply with UN resolutions!’ in different languages.
