Supporting the army
Solidarity Event for Azerbaijan in Canada
Azerbaijani Women’s Support Centre has organized an event under the slogan of ‘We all stand with you, Azerbaijan!’ in Toronto, Canada.
The State Committee on Work with Diaspora reports that the Azerbaijani women in Toronto gathered at the solidarity event in front of the parliament building in the province of Ontario and strongly condemned the Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territories of nearly 30 years and the Armenian army targeting and killing Azerbaijani civilians, including innocent children. The protestors held posters depicting slogans such as ‘Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’, ‘End Armenian aggression!’, ‘Pray for Ganja!’, ‘Stop Armenian terror!’, ‘Barda is outside the conflict zone!’. They laid flowers and lit candles in front of the photographs of Barda and Ganja terror victims.
They ended the event by delivering a statement on behalf of Azerbaijani mothers in Ontario and letters addressed to members of parliament to Ted Arnott, Member of Ontario Provincial Parliament.
