Supporting the army
Our Compatriots in Tallin Protest the Ganja Terror
The IRS Azerbaijan Youth Organization initiated a permitted protest for our compatriots in Tallin, Estonia, at the Liberty Square.
The State Committee for Work with Diaspora reports that the rally participants once again emphasized that Armenia’s repeated rocket fires on Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan located far from the frontline, are a violation of international humanitarian law. They raised awareness among the Estonian public that the military-political leadership of Armenia deliberately instructs the army to target the civilians, thus killing innocent people. Our compatriots called on the Estonian government and people not to shut their eyes to Armenian brutality to end their aggressive and terrorist policy.
They placed flowers and toys in front of the pictures of civilians, who lost their lives at the Ganja terror. They also chanted slogans in Estonian and English such as ‘Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’, ‘We say no to terrorism!’, ‘Ganja is not a battlefield!’, ‘Pray for Ganja!’, ‘Azerbaijan demands justice’, ‘Stop aggression!’, ‘Stop Armenian lies’, ‘We say no to Armenian terrorism!’, ‘We say no to child killing!’, ‘Follow UN resolutions’, ‘Stop financing terrorism!’, and ‘Do not support the occupying state’.
Niyazi Hajiyev, head of the Aydan Estonian-Azerbaijani Cultural Centre, also gave an interview to the Estonian State Television on the truths of Karabakh and the Ganja terror.
