What they wrote to the President

President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev continues to receive letters.

We present some of them:

From Asif Kurban, Stockholm, Sweden

‘Dear President Ilham Aliyev,

I salute You and convey our utmost respect for You on behalf of myself and the Azerbaijani diaspora, operating and growing stronger in various countries of the world. We would like to express our full support for You and our homeland Azerbaijan.

We were deeply concerned as aggressor Armenia attacked our country and opened fire at civilian population and facilities on 27 September 2020. This concern, however, did not last long. The army reforms in the county under Your leadership have led to a strengthened Azerbaijani Armed Forces with outstanding infrastructure. Our glorious Army has retaliated worthily to enemy provocations and started recovering our native lands from the enemy foothold. Our valiant Army is advancing on the frontline, driving the Armenian aggressors out of our lands.

Mr. President, You have time and again called on world states and international organizations and demanded the Armenian state to immediately release the occupied Azerbaijani lands to ensure peace and stability in the region. Armenia, meanwhile, has always disregarded peace talks, displaying a non-constructive stance. We are now reaping the fruit of Your wise and resolute steps, which makes us extremely happy.

We are confident that the remaining occupied lands will also be recovered, and we will soon see the Azerbaijani flag undulate and the Azerbaijani anthem sung in Shusha and Khankendi.

We support Your policy and congratulate You, our army, and our people on the successes we have achieved.

We, the representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora, spare no efforts for our Motherland. We thus declare that we wholeheartedly support the Patriotic War and Azerbaijan’s national fight to end the occupation of Karabakh.

May God protect You, our people, and our victorious Army!’

From Andrey Dmitriyev, Kazan, Russia

Azerbaijan’s current success as a strong and independent state is the result of Your hard work, dedication, and visionary policy as a President.

I wish You success on this responsible path.’

From Elchin Hashimov, Sheki, Azerbaijan

‘Dear Mr. President,

My heart fills with pride and joy as we watch the videos of the Azerbaijani flag undulating in our liberated lands. The tides of victory have inspired our people for new victories.

From Vusal Samandzadeh, Baku, Azerbaijan

‘Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief,

Our lands that have been under the foothold of Armenian invaders for 30 years have as if spoken ‘Please rescue us’. You are now liberating them from the rabid Armenian Dashnaks through Your wise policy and our brave Army.

You are putting Your name down in the history of Azerbaijan in gold letters and leaving a signature of victory in this Patriotic War. You are showing the insolents, Pashinyan, their rightful place, saying ‘Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’.

Mr. President, I congratulate You, our strong Army under Your command, and all the people of Azerbaijan on our Victory. I wish You good health and more victories to come.

You have proved to the Armenia president, eying lands that belong to others, and the entire world that the Republic of Azerbaijan has a wise, victorious Supreme Commander, and a strong Army with modern infrastructure and equipment.

The Azerbaijani people stand by You. I am proud that we have a President like You. Long live Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev! Long Live the valiant Azerbaijani Army! Long live the people of Azerbaijan!

Long live Azerbaijan!

Karabakh is Azerbaijan!

May God deliver You from evil!’

From Fidan Khasizadeh, Yevlakh, Azerbaijan

‘Much respected Supreme Commander-in-Chief,

Our victorious army under Your leadership is returning our lands we have yearned for these long 30 years. Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, You are not only recovering our territorial integrity but also avenging our martyrs, who have sacrificed their lives for this land. You are fulfilling the most fervent wish of all Azerbaijani people. You are retaliating worthily to the enemy. May God protect You, the people of Azerbaijan, and our victorious army.’

From Khudaveren Rahimov, Lerik, Azerbaijan

‘Dear President, victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief,

I thank You wholeheartedly on behalf of the people of Veri village in Lerik for the feelings of pride and joy upon the liberation of our lands.

We, the people of Lerik, always stand by You. We are proud of You and our victorious army. We have no inkling of a doubt that our lands will be fully recovered. May God help You on this path of holy justice!’

From Ziya Gurbatov, Jabrayil, Azerbaijan

‘Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief,

I congratulate You and all our warriors on the liberation of Gubadli city and other settlements from occupation and pray to God for strength and good health for You and our army.

You have taught a lesson in true leadership to many a leader of the world. The entire nation unites around You like a fist upon one call from You. The events we witnessed today are also the true manifestation of this. Pashinyan implores with the soldiers and the people to fight. After all, what has he ever done for his people for them to follow him?!

Mr. President, Mah God ever help You. Amen.’

From Gulli Bayramova, Aghdam, Azerbaijan

‘Dear Mr. President,

Our people could never reconcile with our native lands remaining under occupation. Our National Army under Your command has been delivering crushing blows to the enemy and recovering a portion of our territories from Armenian occupation, thus bestowing true joy upon my family and me. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate our glorious Army.

Every inch of the homeland is sacred because these lands have been kneaded with the blood of our martyrs. My child, too, has been martyred for these lands.

Mr. President, I congratulate You on the successes we have achieved on the frontline. We are all determined to win. We look forward to more victories and the Final Victory from our army.

God bless You! I pray to him for Your good health.’

From Rashad Garayev, Tartar, Azerbaijan

‘Dear President, Mr. Supreme Commander-in-Chief!

The consecutive victorious tides You have been delivering from the frontline have made me proud as a resident of Tartar. This war of justice will deliver thousands of people from the life of an IDP and will lead to the restoration of our borders.

Mr. President, every one of us is ready for Your command as a soldier in this Patriotic War. We fully support all the work You do for the recovery of our occupied lands, our Karabakh, and the restoration of our territorial integrity, which is the dearest dream of our people.

Long live the Azerbaijani Army!

Long live the Supreme Commander-in-Chief!

Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’

From Fuzuli Aliyev, Goranboy, Azerbaijan

‘Dear President, Mr. Supreme Commander-in-Chief!

I strongly condemn the ballistic missile attacks on the city of Ganja, which is far away from the war zone, beyond the reach of the most long-range artillery shells, a home to half a million people, which has resulted in vast casualties and destruction of residential buildings. After these attacks, those who call us for a ceasefire should acknowledge that agreeing to a ceasefire and holding peace talks after such war crimes and terrorist attacks would equal to bowing before crime and terror. The actions of our enemy will forever go down in history as a bad example in the conflicts currently happening and that will continue to happen in the future.

I participated in the First Karabakh War. They haven’t accepted me to join the battles although I have applied. It is my greatest wish to participate in the Second Karabakh War, our Patriotic War, which I believe will be the last.

Karabakh belongs to us, Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’

Azərbaycan Ordusunun sentyabrın 27-də işğalçı Ermənistan silahlı qüvvələrinə qarşı başladığı əks-hücum əməliyyatında əldə etdiyi möhtəşəm qələbələr haqqında bundan sonra kitablar yazılacaq, filmlər çəkiləcək. Amma indidən tam əminliklə deyə bilərik ki, cəbhə uğurlarımızın ən başlıca səbəbi Prezident, Ali Baş Komandan İlham Əliyevin həyata keçirdiyi güclü dövlət, güclü ordu strategiyası, milli birlik və döyüşçülərimizin ruh yüksəkliyi idi.
