Veteran Policemen from Nakhchivan Visit Soldiers Bearing Gifts
Members of the Veterans Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have visited the Internal Affairs Operation Brigade.
Yusif Hasanov, chairman of the Veterans Council at the MIA and retired police colonel, Mubariz Guliyev, chairman of the Veterans Council at Nakhchivan Police Department and retired police lieutenant colonel, spoke at the meeting with the soldiers of the heroism the Azerbaijani Army has been demonstrating while recovering our lands from Armenian occupation.
They noted that the Armenian armed forces started firing at our civilian population and settlements, destroying our houses and infrastructure as of 27 September and our heroic soldiers and officers launched counterattack operations in retaliation, capturing several residential areas, heights, and control points soon afterward. Our people, closely united around the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, are confident that we will soon recover these lands. These battles are a marker of how close the Victory is. We will liberate our lands from the enemy through either war or negotiations.
Our state provides the army units with all the necessities, including quality groceries. At the same time, we must always pay special attention to the morale and psyche of our soldiers for an excellent comprehensive combat ability. Boosted morale and psyche translate into a high fighting spirit, the speakers concluded.
Officer Orkhan Seyidov, soldiers Eldaniz Farzaliyev, Ramin Garajayev, Sahman Guliyev, Kamran Shushanov, and Sanan Mustafayev thanked our state and people for all the attention and care shown to them.
The guests then delivered the gifts they brought to the soldiers.
