Melissa Group Donates to the Armed Forces Relief Fund
The Azerbaijani Army is currently fighting to liberate our occupied lands and protect the territorial integrity of our country. Melissa Group of Companies (Melissa Group, Performance Center, and Collezione Italia) has donated 100,000 manats to the Armed Forces Relief Fund, established to support the army.
The company reports that apart from the donation, the Melissa Group has also launched the ‘We are returning home’ social campaign to boost morale and fulfil their moral duty. The company employees and the residents participate in coordinating aid for the frontline, write off utility bills of mobilized residents, and do their best to render financial and moral support to the families of their employees, participating in the battles.
The company has also launched its ‘We are returning home’ logo as a part of its strategic planning to promote patriotism during wartime. The logo depicts the historical Azerbaijani lands, occupied for years, the Karabakh map, and the horse, which has long since become a symbol of Karabakh. The horseback warrior symbolizes the heroes, who have fought for the liberation of these lands all these years. The logo especially emphasizes the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's call ‘Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’.
Melissa Group has previously carried out several corporate social responsibility campaigns, such as the ‘I Love Greenery’ supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources where they acted as the intermediary in planting hundreds of trees, ‘Smile of Dreams’ to support children deprived of parental care at SOS Children’s Village and ‘Don’t Lose Hope’ during the coronavirus pandemic.
