Brotherly Türkiye Organizes Another Support Campaign for Azerbaijan
Kamu-Sen Trade Union Istanbul representation has hosted an event ‘Karabakh is Azerbaijani land’ to support our country. The event was attended by chairmen of almost a hundred NGOs operating in Türkiye.
The speakers at the event stressed the importance of liberating Karabakh from occupation. As a brotherly country, Türkiye always stands by Azerbaijan at all circumstances.
Remzi Ozmen, head of Kamu-Sen Istanbul, noted that Nagorno-Karabakh is a historically Turkic land, reminding that those lands are still home to historical Turkic monuments. Ozmen spoke of the numerous acts of genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis over the centuries: ‘Only recently, the occupying Armenia committed the Khojaly genocide for the entire world to see, the bloody traces of the incident still undried. Armenia has yet to answer for these genocides. This terrorist state, ever thirsty for blood, continues its aggressive policy. Still renouncing law, Armenia continues military provocations against Azerbaijan, thus killing innocent people and children.’
Professor Ibrahim Oztek, head of Turkiye Anatolian Centre for Intellectuals, noted in his speech that the Azerbaijani Army is now completing the unfinished movement of the Caucasian Islamic Army: ‘The entire Turkic world is eager to see Karabakh join its historic owner. The recent events have demonstrated to the entire world not only the might and prowess of the Azerbaijani Army but also the ironclad will of the Azerbaijani people and the Türkiye-Azerbaijan solidary. Azerbaijani Army has shown everyone what it’s capable of in these past few days.’
The participants proudly raised the flags of the two countries at the event and manifested their brotherly support for Azerbaijan.
