Support Rally for Azerbaijan in Igdir
The Turkish community is enraged with Armenia’s ceaseless military attacks against our country and targeting the civilian population, residential buildings, and infrastructure in Azerbaijan.
The Igdir-Azerbaijan Language, History and Culture Community Survival and Support Association has organized a rally to support the movement the Azerbaijani Army has launched to liberate the occupied lands.
The support act was held in downtown Igdir and concluded with Ziya Zakir Ajar, chairman of the association, reading out the statement of the organization. The members of the association have expressed their confidence that the retaliation by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces against the occupying army is Azerbaijan’s hard-earned right both legally and morally. Our triumphant army will soon pen a victory and recover our occupied territories from the enemy. Every Turkish citizen stands by Azerbaijan, ready to arm as a soldier for this just cause.
Sardar Unsal, deputy chairman of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Friendship Association Federation and head of Igdir Azerbaijan House Association, spoke at the rally and stated that the recovery of our occupied lands is the ultimate dream of all people of Türkiye, especially Turkish citizens of brotherly Azerbaijani origin. Future generations will not forgive us if this issue is not resolved staying true to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
