Supporting the army
Our Compatriots Living in Georgia Organized a Support Rally for Azerbaijan
Our compatriots in Georgia held a support rally for the Azerbaijani Army on 28 September. The event started in Heydar Aliyev Park in downtown Tbilisi, paying tribute to our martyrs with a minute’s silence. The speakers at the rally talked of the victories of the Azerbaijani Army and expressed their confidence that our lands will soon be recovered from Armenian occupation.
They all noted that our compatriots in Georgia, especially the youth, stand united by the President of Azerbaijan on this difficult, yet honourable day, and are all ready to join the battles for Karabakh, our historical Motherland, when necessary.
The rally participants then marched toward the Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia. They waved the flags of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey along the way, as they chanted ‘Karabakh is and will be ours!’, ‘Azerbaijan, we are with you!’, ‘Cross the trench, Azerbaijani soldier!’.
They sang the national anthem of Azerbaijan in front of the embassy building. Anar Rasulov, the first secretary to the ambassador, met with the participants of the action and thanked them on behalf of the Azerbaijani state for their support.
The diplomat noted that the Azerbaijani Army continues to triumph. Our Armed Forces are conducting successful operations and will soon liberate all our occupied lands.
Rasulov called on our compatriots to be vigilant and not fall prey to provocations.
