Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan holds briefing
On October 5, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev and Aide to the President, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev hold a joint briefing.
About 30 ambassadors and deputies, 19 other members of the diplomatic corps, as well as more than 30 representatives of local and foreign media attended the briefing.
Addressing the briefing, the Prosecutor General noted that Armenia continues its aggression against Azerbaijan, which it began on September 27, 2020 in violation of the Geneva Convention. Thus, the enemy, as of October 4, fired missiles and artillery shells at densely populated settlements of the second largest city of Azerbaijan with a population of more than 500,000, located far from the war zone, Ganja city and industrial city of Mingachevir, and from October 5, 2020, Goranboy, Goygol, Beylagan, Barda, Tartar Zardab districts, and inflicted extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.
Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and Presidential Aide Hikmat Hajiyev answered numerous questions from the media.
