Azerbaijan to appeal to int'l organizations to hold tribunal over Armenia
On September 27, at about 06:00 the Armenian armed forces started a large-scale provocation along the entire front line. Positions of the Azerbaijani army were intensively fired from large-calibre weapons, mortars and artillery of various calibres.
The military-political leadership of Armenia, pursuing a hypocritical and unconstructive policy, committed various crimes against the civilian population, deliberately and purposefully shelling densely populated areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and violating the fundamental norms and principles of international law.
By now, 19 civilians have been hospitalized with various injuries
For the purpose to expose aggressive nature of Armenia in the international arena, the introduction of sanctions against the aggressor country stipulated by international law, an appeal will be made to a number of international organizations, including the UN Security Council, to organize a special international tribunal.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducts the necessary documentation and collects evidence to ensure that servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces who have committed various crimes are prosecuted and punished in accordance with international law.
