Colombian Senate condemns Armenia's aggression
In a statement adopted today, the Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations of the Colombian Senate condemned the attacks, aggression committed by the Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijan since September 27, which caused casualties among civilians, as well as reiterated its support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and inviolability of the internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan.
The document calls for an end to the aggressive policy to resolve the conflict within the framework of international law, the international humanitarian law based on the UN Security Council Resolutions No. 822, 853, 874, 884 dated 1993.
The Senate also urged international organizations to act more cautiously and take a fair and impartial position in relation to the ongoing conflict in the territory of Azerbaijan.
In the end, Colombia, as a friendly country, expressed its condolences to the government and people of Azerbaijan for the martyrs who lost their lives.
