Verkhovna Rada: Ukraine supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and its restoration from first day
The international law envisages the inviolability of the territorial integrity of the state, including the use of any opportunity for the restoration of territorial integrity. We support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and its restoration from the very first day.
Ruslan Stefanchuk, First Deputy Speaker of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine made the statement. He noted that the position of official Kyiv is based on the requirements of international law, the principles of sovereignty and justice.
“Our territorial integrity also suffers from separatism. In this sense, we well understand this painful problem of our friend Azerbaijan. We unequivocally support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and strongly condemn the violation of its territorial integrity and the occupation of Azerbaijani lands”, said the Ukrainian official.
