Clarin, a daily Argentine newspaper, published an article entitled “Azerbaijan reported the destruction of Armenia-fired several ballistic missiles”.
The newspaper, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, says that on October 14, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces destroyed several ballistic missiles fired from the territory of Armenia at Azerbaijani cities and civilian infrastructure facilities.
On the night of October 14, the Azerbaijani Army destroyed several tactical ballistic missile complexes deployed by Armenia in the border zone near the occupied Kalbajar district of Azerbaijan. Later, another ballistic missile of the Armenians was neutralized in the same direction. According to the information provided by the Azerbaijani military, this missile was aimed at Ganja, the second-largest city in the country.
The Argentine newspaper also points out that despite the Moscow-brokered humanitarian ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the military operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone did not stop for a single day.
Moreover, the article provides information about the history of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. It is noted that as a result of that conflict, Armenia occupied the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, as well as the vast territories adjacent to it, called the "security zone".
The Argentine newspaper emphasizes that Azerbaijan demands the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from its occupied territories, as is reflected in well-known UN Security Council resolutions.
