Spanish Media Highlight Azerbaijani Liberation of Zangilan
The Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia has reported on the Azerbaijani Army’s liberation of Zangilan city and surrounding settlements.
The article quotes Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s television announcement, which confirmed the liberation of Zangilan and 24 nearby villages. President Aliyev condemned Armenia’s destruction of Azerbaijani cultural heritage in the occupied territories, stating, “We are on the threshold of the Great Return.”
He added, “I am confident that the citizens of Azerbaijan will return to all the lands liberated from the occupiers. They will live there again and build in peace and tranquility.”
La Vanguardia also notes that Zangilan lies just a few kilometers from Azerbaijan’s border with Iran.
