German “Deutsche Welle” airs report from Ganja
The German television channel Deutsche Welle has broadcast a report titled “The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: Mourning and anger in Ganja.”
In her coverage from Azerbaijan’s second-largest city, correspondent Yulia Hahn visited the residential district devastated by a rocket strike on the night of October 17. Speaking among the ruins of destroyed homes, Hahn interviewed local residents.
One of them, Ganja resident Ragiba Guliyeva, whose house was completely demolished, recalled the tragic night. She noted that an entire neighborhood, once filled with residential houses, had been reduced to rubble by the attack. Video footage shows the young woman recognizing her belongings among the debris and trying to salvage them.
The journalist also visited a commemorative corner set up in honor of the 13 residents who lost their lives in the strike.
