A program dedicated to Azerbaijan was aired on Brazil's REBE TV channel.
The Azerbaijani embassy in Brazil informed that Ravan Huseynov, executive director of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center, spoke at the program and shared the activities of the center and plans for cooperation with Brazil. It was stated that multiculturalism is the state policy of Azerbaijan, and the institution it represents teaches this model in many countries of the world, including Brazil.
Answering journalist Fabiana Seyhan's question about the processes taking place in the region, Huseynov emphasized that the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the biggest threat to peace and multiculturalism in our region, and some international circles are trying to introduce this conflict from a religious or ethnic point of view.
