Tural Rzayev, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Egypt, gave an interview to the country's influential "Dostor" media portal. The ambassador said in an interview that Azerbaijan, which has a brave army, does not need anyone's military assistance, and our Armed Forces, which are conducting counter-offensive operations against the military provocation of the invading Armenia, are determined to continue fighting until our lands are completely liberated.
Armenia, which has kept 20 percent of our territories under occupation for more than 27 years, refuses to comply with the resolutions of the UN Security Council on the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of those lands. The activity of the OSCE Minsk Group, which is co-chaired by the USA, France, and Russia, in the direction of settling the conflict has not yielded any results due to the non-constructive position of Armenia in the negotiation process. The occupying country, trying to maintain the status quo, at the same time committed military provocations and continuously violated the ceasefire regime. Armenian military units have periodically targeted civilian objects and civilians.
