The researcher of the Sapienza University of Rome, Professor Daniel Pommier Vincelli, published the "Nagorno-Karabakh: is it time for peace?" article in the Italian version of the famous "EUROACTIVE" portal linked to the prestigious Italian "Corriere Della Sera" newspaper.
In the article, the author mentions the humanitarian ceasefire agreed between Azerbaijan and Armenia with the mediation of Russia on October 10, and talks about the necessary conditions for peace and dialogue and the steps to be taken. The professor notes that Azerbaijan is currently in a superior position, and from a military point of view, Baku is winning. Azerbaijan regained control over a number of territories located around Nagorno-Karabakh, which was occupied by Armenia in 1993. Also, politically, there is an advantage of conducting operations both in Nagorno-Karabakh, which is a national territory, and in the surrounding regions, and this whole situation paves the way for some preparations for peace.
