The article written by Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani parliament) Adil Aliyev about the killing of Azerbaijani civilian population by Armenian armed forces was published in German media.
In the article, Adil Aliyev drew attention to Armenia's targeting of residential areas, where civilians live, especially in the evening, and to the fact that Armenia attacked the city of Ganja, which has no connection with the front line and was located less than 60 kilometers from the front line, resulting in the death and serious injury of civilians. The deputy speaker did not only mention the attack on Ganja city, but also the Armenian attack on Mingachevir city, underlining that Armenia’s aggressive policy in the region was the biggest obstacle to peace.
Adil Aliyev noted the violation of all principles of humanitarian law by Armenia, including the Geneva Conventions in 1949, and said that Armenia has not yet implemented any of the 4 resolutions of the United Nations.
