Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Ramin Hasanov gave TRT DEUTSCH a detailed interview about the recent military provocations of Armenia against Azerbaijan.
In the interview, the ambassador discussed the history and legal aspects of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the policy of ethnic cleansing carried out by the Armenians, documents adopted by international organizations related to the conflict, Armenia's military aggression and provocations against Azerbaijan, as well as the destruction of the civilian population, infrastructure and cultural monuments.
Apart from that, it was stated that neutral statements and calls for negotiations regarding the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were not enough. Mentioning the expectations from the OSCE Minsk Group and its co-chairs, he also added that the lack of pressure on the aggressor Armenia by the international community was a cause for concern. In this regard, as a member of the Minsk Group, Germany was called upon to play a more active role.
The diplomat also spoke about the role of Russia, the close relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, as well as our trans-regional energy projects and their contributions to Europe's energy security.
