Seyran Mirzazadeh, director of the Azerbaijan-Montenegro Cultural and Economic Center, provided detailed information on the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan's position based on international law, and Armenia's aggressive policy on the live broadcast of the Serbian TV channel "National TV" program.
He said that Azerbaijan recognized the territorial integrity of all countries, including Serbia, and expected the same approach from the international community and other countries.
To cover up its aggressive policy, Armenia's efforts to show this conflict as an inter-religious war have no logic or basis. Unlike mono-ethnic Armenia, Azerbaijan is a country based on multi-ethnic values and where religious tolerance prevails. Azerbaijan does not divide countries and people based on religion and nationality. During the recent floods, humanitarian aid planes of Azerbaijan landed in Belgrade and Sarajevo at the same time. It is unreasonable and illogical for Armenia to blame Azerbaijan for the inter-religious conflict.
If Armenia does not withdraw its occupying forces from the occupied territories or attempts a long-term war, not only will it be forced out of Nagorno-Karabakh, but the entire Armenian people will face a humanitarian disaster.
