Tartar Heavily Shelled by Armenian Armed Forces
The military and political leadership of Armenia continues to target the civilian population, infrastructure, and farms in gross violation of their obligations under the Geneva Convention. They deliberately target compactly populated areas such as district and village centres, and civilian infrastructure, such as hospitals, medical centres, schools, and kindergartens.
The enemy forces started intensive artillery fire at around 7 in the morning at Tartar regional centre, including densely populated villages, damaging the houses owned by Mayil Ahmadov Alasgar oghlu, Nizami Salahov Majid oghlu, Elshan Karimov Shahmat oghlu and striking the strategic bridge and the police station in the region.
Moreover, the enemy shelling damaged a 54-apartment building on 10 E.Safarov Street and a multi-apartment building on 16 in the Shikh Arkh settlement in Tartar. The residents of the building have been evacuated.
Numerous artillery shells hit the auxiliary structures belonging to Bakhtiyar Aghayev Rahim oghlu in Sahlabad village and Rasmiyya Hasanova in Yukhari Gapanli village in Tartar, killing countless small and large cattle.
The prosecutor’s office is currently carrying out all investigation and operation measures possible under combat conditions and has already commissioned appropriate examinations to define the severity of injuries and the damage to civil infrastructure.
