Armenian Fake Mercenary Campaign Shattered
Armenian imagination for disinformation knows no borders, but Azerbaijan continues to surpass Yerevan in information warfare as well, timely refuting the fakes spread by Armenia and delivering objective information to the international community.
Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of Foreign Policy Affairs at the Presidential Administration, reports in a statement that Armenia and the so-called regime are spreading numerous fakes and disinformation that contradict each other. At times, Azerbaijan does not even need to interfere to expose them. The photograph of the Armenian Ministry of Defence with Armenian soldiers, wearing uniforms of the Azerbaijan State Border Services, has shattered Armenia’s own fake campaign about mercenaries. While the Armenian MoD and other institutions have promised to deliver more data about the new mercenaries, their Ministry of Justice has admitted there is no third mercenary.
Perhaps they have failed to find the right person for the staged theatre play. They are hiring people, who call themselves bloggers, to shoot staged battle scenes to artificially boost morale. The information spread by the so-called regime about civilian deaths in our liberated territories is another piece of disinformation. One of the many things that sets Azerbaijan apart from Armenia is that Azerbaijan never wages war against civilians.
