SSS Takes Action as a Response to Armenian Provocations on Social Media
The enemy special services have also decided to add their two-pence worth into the information war. The Azerbaijani State Security Service remains vigilant, however, swiftly notifying the society and exposing yet another treacherous plan by Yerevan. The public Relations Department at the SSS reports:
‘Our citizens have been demonstrating boosted morale and vigilance as the military operations continue at the contact line of the Armenian-Azerbaijani troops.
Moreover, Armenians and other foreign citizens operating under the direct command of the Armenian special services have substantially boosted their efforts in circulating voice messages, disinformation texts, and edited fake images and footage through mass and social media profiles, accounts, messengers, SMS, and e-mail. The target is to stir tension among the Azerbaijani population, influence public opinion, cause social conflict on ethnic grounds, and obtain information on combat operations, tactical movements of our Armed Forces, tactical and logistical measures, public involvement in military operations and mobilization, etc.
Armenia has enhanced activity to create disbelief in the military achievements of the Azerbaijani Army and is attempting to contact Azerbaijani citizens and conduct targeted surveys among them through tempting payment offers.
In conclusion, our citizens are urged not to follow enemy provocations and are kindly asked to notify the State Security Service WhatsApp and Telegram (+994774059999) channels about any intelligence-provocative appeals sent to them.’
