Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov meets with Azerbaijani community members in the US
On October 23, at the end of his working visit to the United States, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with activists from the Azerbaijani community in the United States.
At the event organized at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Washington, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan that has continued for more than 30 years, the current situation, targeting of Azerbaijani civilians, settlements in Ganja, Mingachevir, Tartar and other cities, numerous casualties among civilians. The minister noted that no significant progress had been made in the peace process, and the talks had been significantly disrupted over the past two years due to the destructive policy of Nikol Pashinyan's government.
The Minister stressed that Armenia grossly violates international law, including international humanitarian law. He noted that Armenia's aggressive policy poses a threat not only to Azerbaijan but also to the entire region. He underlined the importance of eliminating the fact of occupation and respecting the internationally recognized borders of states to ensure lasting peace and prosperity in the region. Minister Bayramov expressed gratitude to the community members for their active involvement in the information war.
