Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva and Turkish Ombudsman Şeref Malkoç hold Press Briefing
Ombudsman Office hosted a press briefing on the joint fact-finding mission on Ganja by Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, Ms. Sabina Aliyeva and a delegation led by the President of the Ombudsmen Association of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Chief Ombudsman of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Şeref Malkoç. The briefing focused on the regular shelling of the city of Ganja and other territories of Azerbaijan by the Armenian armed forces, the attacks on civilians, which resulted in casualties and damage.
During the briefing, it was adopted a joint Statement on the findings of the fact-finding mission jointly carried out.
This should be noted that the report, which to be prepared on the basis of factual materials amassed by both Ombudspersons during a joint fact-finding mission, will be sent to international organizations.
